Participation & Team Composition

  • Each participating Ayurved college must nominate one team of four undergraduate contestants.
  • The competition is strictly for undergraduate BAMS students. Students from any undergraduate academic year may be selected. Post-Graduate and PhD students are NOT eligible to participate as contestants.
  • Teams are encouraged to include at least one female contestant.
  • The team must be accompanied by one faculty member authorised by the college, who will act as the Team Mentor/Coordinator.
  • Entries authorised and submitted through the respective college authorities only will be accepted.
  • For Jyotishmati 6, one student from the academic batch 2020-21 is allowed to participate, including in the Finals, even if they have commenced their internship before the Final round.
  • Questions will be based on the complete BAMS syllabus from First Year to Final Year.

Entry Submission

  • Please submit casual photographs in JPEG/JPG format, with a resolution of at least 500 KB, of all four contestants and the Team Coordinator/Mentor. The name of each person should be mentioned in the caption.
  • Please also share the College Logo and name for use in relevant event materials.
  • Please upload your institution's entry form with Participants & Team Co-ordinator's details along with their photos on the link emailed to respective College's Principal in an Invitation email, latest by 15 days prior to the contest date.

  • College authorities are requested to verify all details carefully, as the information provided may be used for travel and accommodation arrangements, if needed.

Travel & Accommodation

  • Travel and accommodation arrangements may be provided by the organisers for the four participating students and one faculty member if the college is based outstation from the event venue's city.
  • This facility must be confirmed at the time of participation.
  • Where required, travel arrangements will be made to ensure that participants reach the venue one day before the event.

Event-Day Requirements

  • Participants must carry their Authorised College Photo ID Card and a copy of the submitted entry form.
  • All teams must report to the host college at least two hours before the scheduled start of the event.
  • Upon arrival, participants must contact Mr. Sachin Gupta, Event Manager (Mobile: 9821461625) for attendance confirmation and further instructions.
  • Participants are advised to send the entry form by email at the earliest to ensure timely confirmation of participation.

Quiz Rounds

  • Jyotishmati 6 will feature approximately 25–30 preliminary rounds across various locations in India.
  • In case, there are multiple teams with the same score qualifying for the Grand Finale, a Semifinal round may be organised before Grand Finale.
  • Event scores will be available on jyotishmatisdl.com
  • The decision of the Judges will be final and binding to all the teams.

Prizes & Recognition

  • All participating teams will receive certificates and trophies.
  • The Grand Finale participants and winners will receive separate certificates, Jyotishmati 6 trophies and exciting gifts.
